OWH Sketch Challenge 150

I'm running about a week behind with this post, so thank goodness that there's no due date for this challenge!

I love OWH sketches!  They take all the guess work out of the challenge by including the measurements on their sketches!  How AWESOME is that!?!?  This was the sketch they released last week, Sketch 150:

And here's my card:

Yes, I know I made a Thanksgiving card at Christmas.  But I'm sucker for this adorable little squirrel by Inkadinkado   And  I can always hang onto it until next year!

I also used paper from my six-by-six challenge pad bringing my total to 20 cards so far!

CAS(E) this Sketch! Challenge #9

Happy Sunday night all!

I just wanted to post a card I made for the the CAS(E) this Sketch! Challenge #9.  This is the sketch for the week:

And here's my card:

I stamped the fun kite image from the Perfectly Perfect Day set by Avocado Arts in Tuxedo black.  I used a few Spectrum Noir markers to color in the kites.   I drew in the kite strings freehand and added the bow and sentiment from the same stamp set.

Well, that's it for this little card.  There's still some time to play along, so be sure to check out the challenge for yourself!

ODBD December Challenge

Hi All,

The monthly Our Daily Bread Designs December challenge on the OWH blog is to create a card with flowers on it.

This my card:

I used a floral paper from Pebbles Seen & Noted Collection.  I added a rub-on sentiment from DCWV.

Six-by-Six Challenge Post 4

Welcome to Post 4 of the six-by-six challenge.

I'm onto four new papers from the stack and this OWH sketch:

I have to say this has been the most challenging sketch for me thus far!  I hemmed and hawed over these cards for several days, and I'm still not entirely sure I like this batch.  Here they are anyway:

That's four more cards for a total of 15 cards so far!

Play Date Cafe Challenge 159

Last post for today, I promise!

These are colors for The Play Date Cafe Challenge 159:

Don't you just love these colors?!?!  Red, black, and white are my FAVORITE colors.  If I were feeling better, I would definitely be entering more than one card.  Anyhow, here is my card for the challenge:

I started by adhering a black and white striped paper from Fancy Pants to a white card base.

Next I added roses from PTI's Rosie Posie set.  I die cut the roses out of red cardstock and stamped and heat embossed the rose image onto the die cuts using Versamark ink and clear glitter embossing powder.  I LOVE how the flowers turned out!

To finish the card, I added an image from PTI's Wish Big stamp set and scattered a few clear rhinestones around.

So I wanted to play along with CASe This Sketch challenge this week.  Here is the sketch for Challenge 7:

Since I was working my way through the six by six challenge, I had a couple of paper scraps lying around and decided to use this sketch.

This is the card I created:

Six-by-Six Challenge Post 3

So I'm back with my third installment of my very own six by six challenge.  I've challenged myself to create as many cards as I can from one six by six pad.

I started with the first five sheets from a pad called Reunion by My Mind's Eye and this OWH sketch:

I was able to make FIVE more cards using the same paper!  And here they are in no particular order:

So that's five more cards for a total of 11 cards.
